The first half of 2026 has been one of those seasons where I looked up and realized a lot has happened, in the best way: hosting art gallery tours, art workshops, artists’ dinners, interviewed for a podcast, new collaborations, and a December community art show I can’t stop thinking about.
Here’s what I’ve been up to and what’s ahead:
🎙️ I was on a podcast with PE Pinkman talking about AI and Art, and it turned into a real conversation about my project AI Coffee. Strange, beautiful work that opened up more questions than it answered.
🎨 Gallery Tours: Hosting intimate small-group tours in downtown San Francisco has been one of my favorite things. Real conversations with gallerists, real connection with contemporary art.
🖌️ Art Workshops: Three coming up.
• Experimental Filmmaking: June 30, West Marin
• Bring Art Into Your Life: July 9, Mill Valley
• Seasonal Planning for Artists & Creatives: DM me to schedule
🍴 Artists’ Dinners: Three dinners across three seasons, including a Lunar New Year evening at Charity Cultural Services Center in Chinatown. Next up: a Pride dinner in the Castro.
🎨 LA Art Retreat: This October, I’m taking a group to the new galleries at LACMA and into the Southern California art community. DM me if you want early details.
🗺️ The Urbanist: Riso-printed art maps of SF and NYC launched earlier this year are now in stock at www.postscriptshop.com in the Fillmore. A collaboration I’m genuinely proud of.
📅 December Art Show: December 11–13, 2026. My second community show. A full weekend of art, music, and collective expression. Save the date!

My Seasonal Planning Workshop leverages the Double Diamond design process as a foundation to explore, define, and align priorities for the year.
Participants use this structured approach to identify key goals, evaluate ongoing initiatives, and strategically prioritize and reprioritize work for each quarter.
Held seasonally, the workshop is most impactful when conducted at the start of the new year and again mid-year in June or July, ensuring priortities remain adaptive, focused, and aligned with evolving creative needs and business opportunities.

Join us for an experimental filmmaking workshop.
I’ll screen my short art films, get hands on with direct animation, and we’ll make a collaborative film that gets spliced together and keeps growing every workshop. It’s become a living artwork built by the community.
All materials will be provided.
Step into the world of experimental filmmaking in this immersive, hands-on workshop where you’ll watch, make, and screen real 16mm film, no experience required.
Learn about filmmaking as an art medium, watch short films, and then pick up a filmstrip to create your own direct animation on found footage.
By the end of the workshop, every participant’s work gets spliced together into a single collaborative reel and projected on a 16mm projector for the whole room to watch together.
Whether you’re a filmmaker, a curious creative, or someone who’s never touched film, this workshop is a rare chance to engage with cinema as a physical, tactile medium, and to make something real alongside a community of artists.

I recently hosted a vibrant and heartfelt artist’s dinner in the heart of Chinatown. It was to celebrate Lunar New Year and benefit CCSC a local non-profit organization.
This special evening united talented artists from the recent Urban Romance art show. It was a night filled with community, culture, and creativity. Our venue was filled with the warm energy of friends and collaborators. The tables were adorned in festive Lunar New Year colors. The décor reflected the celebration.
Guests enjoyed sharing stories about their artwork. They shared the inspirations behind their pieces. They also reveled in the joy of coming together for a meaningful cause. The highlight of the night was the sense of connection.
Artists and supporters gathered to celebrate Lunar New Year. They also supported vital community programming through the non-profit partnership. Delicious dishes and lively conversation set the tone for an evening that felt both intimate and inspiring.

I hosted The Evergreen State College alumni gathering at the beautiful Wessling Contemporary art gallery in downtown San Francisco with Marni Sweetland. It was an incredible evening filled with connection, creativity, and community.
We were honored to welcome Evergreen’s President, John Carmichael along with leaders from the college, Javier Womeldorff, Enrique Del Castillo Ramirez, and Caroline Bell who shared updates on the initiatives happening on campus. The gallery setting provided the perfect space to celebrate the arts, engage in meaningful conversations, and reconnect with fellow Greeners from across the Bay Area.
A huge thank you to Tony Wessling and everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success! Moments like these remind us of the power of the Evergreen community, no matter where we are in the world. 💚

Hosting Kit and Brian on a tour of art galleries for Valentine’s Day was a privilege!

“What an incredible experience – WOW!”
“Visiting excellent galleries with private tours, a secret rooftop stop, AND a hard-to-get reservation on Valentine’s Day. What! On top of that, the whole thing was customized to our art preferences. Truly a must.”
